From 1987 to 2006, Yasuo Tanida worked on natural language processing research and development at the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology. After 2007, he was involved in marketing science consulting work at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
