Koji Sekiguchi is deeply involved in the search engine industry and natural language processing community in Japan. He founded Ronduit in 2006, which offers consulting on search-based solutions, and offers training and technical support for Apache Solr and related technologies.
Previously, Sekiguchi worked at software companies including BEA Systems and DEC. He is a Apache Lucene/Solr Committer and a member of the Lucene Project Management Committee. He graduated from the Engineering Faculty in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chiba University, and received a master’s degree in information science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology with a major in natural language processing.
