As Data Scientist at Data Robot, Akira Shibata is perfecting the art of applying machine learning to a diverse range of businesses. He contributed to the Higgs Boson discovery at the Large Haldron Collider particle accelerator of CERN, through statistical modeling during his post-doctoral work at New York University. Shibata was formerly CEO of Shiroyagi Corporation and Consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He is also organizer of PyData.Tokyo.
