Adam Gibson leads Skymind, a deep learning startup focused on enterprise solutions in banking and telecommunications. Adam is also the co-author of the O’Reilly book Deep Learning: A Practitioner’s Approach. Prior to Skymind, Adam was a machine learning instructor in San Francisco teaching advanced machine learning to students at Zipfian Academy (acquired by Galvanize) and led various startups in machine learning in the Midwest of the U.S. solving problems ranging from sentiment analysis for social media to parsing unstructured web pages.
