Steve Bassi is the Founder and CEO of Narf Industries, a boutique information security company which researches, designs, and develops new information security solutions for a diverse range of clients from casinos to governments. Steve serves as a lecturer at Santa Clara University where he teaches computer forensics and exploitation. He earned his master’s degree in computer science from Naval Postgraduate School. He recently served as a PI on the DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge, the world’s first autonomous computer security competition. Steve was a full-time member of “Sk3wl of R00t” from 2006 to 2010, a frequent participant in worldwide CTFs and a two-time DEFCON CTF winner.
